Economic Advisor Rebholz Siebeldingen White Burgundy from Muschelkalk

White Burgundy from Muschelkalk limestone – that's not a marketing promise, but a geological fact. The "Im Sonnenschein" vineyard in Siebeldingen lives up to its name: south-facing, around 180 meters above sea level, with a calcareous Muschelkalk limestone foundation.

Ökonomierat Rebholz is one of the leading names in the Palatinate region. The winery in Siebeldingen has been consistently operating organically for decades and is considered a benchmark for dry, mineral-driven white wines from the Southern Palatinate. Hansjörg Rebholz, now the third generation, has played a crucial role in shaping the winery's international reputation.

In the glass, this white Burgundy reveals the potential of limestone soil: aromas of pear and white peach on the nose, accompanied by a distinct chalky undertone. On the palate, it is taut, with precise acidity and a long, slightly smoky finish. Not a sumptuous, buttery style – rather lean, direct, with real bite.

Aging in stainless steel tanks preserves the fruit and sharpens the contours. Ready to drink now, with potential until 2028. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with pike-perch fillet with caper butter, seared scallops, or strong goat cheese.
