Disibodenberg Wine House Raphael Silver by Harold Faltermeyer

A Sauvignon Blanc from the Nahe region that bears the signature of its location: mineral, taut, with the cool depth typical of clay slate.

The Disibodenberg winery is located in the Nahe Valley, not far from the historic Disibodenberg monastery ruins. The Raphael Silver comes from the Kapellenberg vineyard, whose deep clay slate soils impart a pronounced minerality and emphasize the natural freshness of the grape variety.

In the glass, it displays a pale yellow color with green reflections. The nose offers aromas of lemon zest, green apple, and a hint of freshly cut grass—classic Sauvignon Blanc notes, which are further defined by a salty, slate-like mineral base. On the palate, the wine exhibits the typical lively acidity, a lean body, and a short to medium finish with a subtle herbal note.

Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with goat cheese, grilled asparagus, fish dishes with citrus butter, or a light summer salad. Also suitable as a simple aperitif. Drink now—no long aging required.
