Disibodenberg Wine House Raphael Gold Sauvignon Blanc by Harold Faltermeyer
A Sauvignon Blanc that shows what the Nahe region is capable of: clear fruit, lively acidity and a lingering finish.
Disibodenberg Winery is located in the Nahe Valley, one of Germany's more compact quality wine regions between the Hunsrück and Soonwald forests. The winery focuses on aromatic white wines where varietal character takes center stage.
In the glass, the wine shines a bright yellow with green reflections. The nose reveals gooseberry, Granny Smith apple, and grapefruit – the typical aroma profile of a cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc. A hint of passion fruit adds a touch of vibrancy. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fresh acidity and a dry, non-sharp finish.
- Dishes: Grilled sea bass, prawns with lemon butter, vitello tonnato, light pasta with herb sauce
