The Weedenborn winery is located in Flörsheim-Dalsheim in Rheinhessen—a region known for its mineral-driven white wines with structure. The winery focuses on single-varietal styles and clearly defined wines without excessive oak aging.

In the glass, gooseberry, white currant, and a hint of freshly cut grass—the classic aroma profile of the variety, but here with a herbal depth instead of tropical sweetness. The body is firm, the acidity lively and well-integrated. The finish is mineral and dry, with a lingering aftertaste of green apple and herbs. Not a creamy wine—rather straightforward and precise.
