Grande Réserve

Grande Réserve
Two grape varieties, one clear statement: The Grande Réserve from Weedenborn brings together Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from the oldest and highest-altitude parcels of the winery – hand-selected, recomposed each year.
Weedenborn is located in Rheinhessen, on the windswept ridge between Alzey and Worms. The winery works consistently with a focus on its specific vineyard sites and has made a name for itself with precise, dry white wines. The Grande Réserve represents the pinnacle of this work: this cuvée is only created when Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay combine to deliver the desired quality.
In the glass, the Chardonnay component reveals itself in texture and weight – a creamy mouthfeel, ripe pear, a hint of hazelnut. The Sauvignon Blanc counters with fresh grapefruit, citrus zest, green herbs, and a vibrant acidity that carries the wine through to its long, mineral finish. The blend is more than the sum of its parts.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled sea bass with caper butter, goat cheese tart, or a lemon and herb risotto. Drinking window: now until 2028.
The Weedenborn winery sits high in Monzernheim, Rheinhessen, producing wines with a magnificent location and a family atmosphere. Grapes ripen on limestone above Morstein and Kirchspiel, combining freshness and depth – Gesine Roll's craftsmanship transforms this into top-quality wine.
In the glass , precise Sauvignon Blancs , elegant Rieslings, and Burgundies shine with citrus, stone fruit, and mineral tension. Typical of Weedenborn: lean, aromatic, and full of terroir, crafted with natural care and precision.
Here you'll find the pinnacle of Rheinhessen: elegance with substance. Perfect for everyone who loves German precision and fruity enjoyment.
