Ùe Cru MV Gran Riserva 30yo Verduzzo Friulano 43%vol Acquavite D'Uva limited bottling 0.7L

A grappa with 30 years of maturation from Friuli: The Ùe Cru Gran Riserva from Nonino Distillatori is a monovitigno from the indigenous Verduzzo Friulano grape variety. It comes in the bottle at 43% vol as a limited bottling.

Nonino is one of the defining names of Italian grappa culture. The house distills in copper stills using the discontinuous method and has relied on single-varietal distillates for decades. "Ùe" stands for grape in Friulian. Three decades of maturation give the brandy depth and a golden to amber appearance.

Dried apricots, honey, and caramelized nuts appear in the glass, along with fine spice notes and a floral hint. It feels velvety on the palate, with round sweetness and a long, warm finish. Serve it neat at room temperature in a tulip glass, as a digestif after a long meal. Dark chocolate or aged cheese pair well with it.

The Distillery

Nonino Distillatori

Nonino Distillatori from Percoto in Friuli has reinvented grappa – and that is no exaggeration. For generations, the Nonino family has been distilling with a passion that you can feel in every sip.

What was once considered a rustic pomace brandy drink, Nonino has turned into an elegant world-class spirit. The three sisters Cristina, Antonella and Elisabetta continue the legacy of their parents Giannola and Benito today – and were named the best distillery in the world in 2020. A merit that shows in every detail: from the hand-blown Murano bottles to the aged Gran Riserva.
