Seckinger Pinot Blanc de Noir dry

The Seckinger Pinot Blanc de Noir dry presents itself in an alluring strawberry-juice color. Its cool nose reveals aromas of pear compote, spices, and a hint of sweet cherry. On the palate, it is clear and delicately juicy, lively and fresh with a firm body and elegant appearance. The spicy notes of preserved pears, cherries, currants, cloves, and apple seeds lend it a multifaceted depth of flavor. A subtle yet persistent extract sweetness and an underlying herbal minerality round out the tasting experience. The finish impresses with abundant stone fruit and a slightly tart tendency towards the aftertaste. A unique wine for discerning connoisseurs. (J. Pronk, February 2, 2020)
