Schlumberger sparkling wine Grüner Veltliner

Schlumberger sparkling wine Grüner Veltliner
Made from 100% Grüner Veltliner and matured on the lees using traditional bottle fermentation — Schlumberger, Austria's oldest sparkling wine producer, is thus relying on a grape variety that is rarely found in sparkling wine.
In the glass, it displays a muted pale yellow with green reflections and fine-grained bubbles. The nose reveals the typical Grüner Veltliner profile: white pepper, ripe pear, and a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, it is invigoratingly fresh, with pronounced spice and a long, dry finish. Falstaff 2017: 93 points, Berlin Wine Trophy 2017: Gold.
Well chilled at 7–9 °C as an aperitif or with Wiener Schnitzel, asparagus with hollandaise sauce and light poultry.
