Reserve Mouton Cadet Saint-Émilion Bordeaux

Color: vibrant, brilliant with ruby-red reflections. Aroma: a very refined, complex bouquet with generous aromas of sweet, ripe red berries, spices, and fine caramel. Taste: very elegant on the palate, with a beautiful, silky tannin structure and refined aromas of blackberries, cherries, spicy forest floor, and a hint of pepper; in the simultaneously smooth and firm finish, the Merlot, ripened under ideal conditions, perfectly expresses its full potential and captivating charm with its soft fruit. Production: To preserve the fruity character of the Réserve wines, the selected grapes are destemmed using traditional methods, gently crushed, and then cold-macerated for a period of time before fermentation. The six- to eight-day fermentation at controlled temperatures is followed by a further, longer maceration period, during which the wine can extract particularly elegant, softly rounded tannins from the grape skins before undergoing 100% malolactic fermentation to develop even more gentle power and richness.
