Cà Maiol is one of the most well-known addresses in the Lugana DOC, one of the few Italian white wine regions with international renown. The winery cultivates sites around Desenzano del Garda and consistently relies on the autochthonous grape variety Trebbiano di Lugana — genetically independent and not to be confused with the widely used Trebbiano Toscano. The Prestige matures in steel tanks, which preserves the varietal typicity and natural acidity structure in an unadulterated way.

In the glass, citrus fruit, mandarin, and light stone fruit appear, underpinned by wild herbs and a hint of lemon thyme. The palate is linear and fresh, with invigorating acidity that carries green apple and ripe citrus notes. A hint of white pepper sets the finish — dry, taut, and precise.
