Planeta Syrah Morocco Rosso

Planeta Maroccoli is made from Syrah grapes grown at 400 meters above sea level in pristine natural surroundings. The finished wine benefits from the abundant Sicilian sun, which imparts rich aromas. Notes of raspberry and blackberry are present, as are rosemary, coffee, and pepper. On the palate, it evokes figs that fill the mouth, while velvety tannins emerge. A long finish completes this intense and pleasurable experience. 93 points from James Suckling for the 2016 vintage.

Planeta

The descendants of the Planeta family have now grown up. Around the fortress of Ulmo in southwestern Sicily, where the land has been cultivated for five centuries, the spark ignited new ideas and projects for viticulture. Here, the first vineyard was planted with vines in 1985. Since then, various generations of brothers and sisters, children and grandchildren have worked side by side. Their perfect understanding is based not only on the harmony of their personalities and the complementarity of their skills, but above all on a united vision: the love for this land, the desire to protect it, and the ability to imagine a new way each day to give it value.
