Pinot Chardonnay Sparkling Wine Brut

Martin Waßmer's Pinot Chardonnay sparkling wine Brut demonstrates that the Markgräflerland winery is capable of much more than just red wine. Classically bottle-fermented, with lees aging in the bottle – stylistically inspired by Champagne.

The limestone soils give the sparkling wine its mineral character and length. In the glass: citrus peel, white peach, delicate yeasty spice, and a hint of brioche. The bubbles are creamy, the finish dry and lingering.

Serve chilled at 7–9 °C – as an aperitif, with oysters, mild goat cheese or a quiche Lorraine.
