OP Eximium No 34 QW Burgenland 1.5L

The OP Eximium No 34 is a dry Blaufränkisch from Burgenland: dark-fruited, juicy, and with fresh acidity. The 1.5-liter magnum is perfect for a large dinner party.

The Gesellmann winery is based in Deutschkreutz in Central Burgenland, a region known for powerful, spicy Blaufränkisch red wines. The wine is organically grown and bears the control number AT-BIO-402.

In the glass, it shows a deep ruby garnet with violet reflections. On the nose, wild berry confit and delicate notes of fine wood meet fine herbal spice. On the palate, cherry and dark berries are added, carried by lively acidity and ripe, elegant tannins. The finish is long and lingers with a light spice.

Recommendation: Serve at 16–18 °C. It goes with beef goulash, braised game, duck breast, or strong mountain cheese. In the magnum, it is well-suited for family celebrations and convivial evenings.
