The OP Eximium No 33 from Gesellmann is a dry Blaufränkisch from Burgenland that brings together power and freshness. It comes from certified organic cultivation (AT-BIO-402).

The Gesellmann winery is located in Deutschkreutz in Central Burgenland, the heartland of Blaufränkisch. The grape variety here stands for dark-fruited red wines with a herbal-spicy note and a clear acid structure. The wine appears deep dark in ruby garnet with violet reflections in the glass.

On the nose, black forest berry confit, delicate noble wood notes and fine herbal spice meet. On the palate, it feels juicy and fresh, with cherries and dark berries, fine acidity and ripe, elegant tannins. The finish is long and spicy.

Recommendation: Serve it at 16–18 °C, for example with braised beef, venison goulash or strong mountain cheese. A decanter beforehand gives it air.
