OM Giro Blanc

Giro Blanc is an indigenous grape variety – rarely cultivated, demanding in the vineyard, but with a character that clearly distinguishes it from international varieties. Golden yellow in the glass, spicy and fresh on the nose.

Indigenous grape varieties like Giro Blanc embody exactly what Vinoscout stands for: wines with origin and character, rather than blandly mass-produced wines. The vine yields only small harvests – what requires patience in the vineyard pays off in the glass with concentrated flavor.

The nose offers aromas of ripe yellow pear, a hint of white peach, and subtle spice. On the palate, a lively acidity lends the wine freshness and length despite its richness. The finish is clean and lingering.

Serve well chilled at 10–12 °C . Pairs well with grilled fish, goat cheese, or a summery herb risotto. Also a good choice as an aperitif.

Oliver Moragues

For over 500 years, Oliver Moragues has been closely linked to Mallorca. On the historic estate in Algaida, wines are created that combine the history of the island with modern viticulture – authentic, full of character, and with great passion for the local grape varieties.

Particularly impressive is the commitment to the almost forgotten Giró Ros grape variety. Despite its name, it is a white grape variety that was cultivated on Mallorca before the phylloxera crisis and is rarely found today. Together with Prensal Blanc, Callet, and Mantonegro, they create elegant, profound wines that reflect the Mediterranean landscape, the special climate, and the unique character of Mallorca in every glass. Those who want to taste the island will find its most original side at Oliver Moragues.
