Nelles Cuvée Pinot German sparkling wine - Traditional bottle fermentation 0.75L

A Winzersekt (grower sparkling wine) from the Ahr valley that shows what Pinot grape varieties can achieve beyond red wine: fresh, precise, with a real profile of origin.

The Nelles winery is one of the traditional addresses on the Ahr — one of the northernmost red wine regions in Germany, known for its Pinot Noir from slate and greywacke soils. For this sparkling wine, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir are fermented according to the traditional Méthode champenoise and subsequently aged for twelve months on the lees — significantly longer than the legal minimum standard for German Winzersekt.

In the glass, the Cuvée Pinot shows a fine, persistent perlage. The nose combines red berries with brioche and a hint of yeast spice. On the palate, it is dry and taut, with lively acidity and a clean, fruit-focused finish. The Brut dosage keeps the fruit in balance without appearing sweet.

Well-chilled at 7–9 °C as an aperitif, with salmon tartare, goat cheese, or light appetizers.
