Menestrello Marche Bianco IGT

A white wine from the Marche region that offers more structure than one would expect from a light IGT – at 13.5% ABV, it remains surprisingly fresh and lively.

The Galiardi winery is located in the Marche region on the Adriatic coast of central Italy – an area known for herbaceous white wines with a salty minerality. The hilly location between the Apennines and the sea creates temperature variations that preserve the freshness and fruitiness in the glass.

In the glass, the Menestrello displays a rich golden yellow. The nose offers aromas of ripe yellow pear, a hint of white peach, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a crisp acidity that lends the wine vibrancy despite the alcohol – not plush, but rather assertive. The finish is short to medium-long, with a slightly saline note.

Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Drink now.

  • Grilled sea bass or sea bream with herb butter
  • Chicken broth with passatelli – a classic dish from the Marche region.
  • Vitello tonnato or fried chicken breast
  • Summer aperitivo with bruschetta and olives

Galiardi

Galiardi – that means gentle hills, clay soils and a family who cultivate their piece of land in Montefeltro with genuine care.

On 13 hectares of vineyards, both native and international grape varieties thrive. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the wines are crafted using traditional methods. The result is elegant DOC and IGT wines that make their origin palpable in every sip – understated yet full of character.

The entire operation is organic. At Galiardi, this isn't a marketing message, but a lived conviction – for generations.
