Marqués de Cáceres Blanco Rioja DOC

Marqués de Cáceres Blanco Rioja DOC
An uncomplicated Rioja Blanco that shows what the region can do with white grape varieties: fresh, aromatic and with a real drinkability.
Marqués de Cáceres was founded in 1970 in Cenicero, in the heart of the Rioja Alta region, in close collaboration with Émile Peynaud from Bordeaux, who shaped the winery's style from the very beginning. The Blanco Joven is made predominantly from Viura, the classic white Rioja grape variety known for its vibrant acidity.
Straw yellow in the glass with green reflections. On the nose, grapefruit, white blossoms, and a hint of lime. Fresh and medium-bodied on the palate, with a clear citrus character, a soft texture, and a clean, slightly spicy finish. No oak aging – the wine remains straightforward and fruit-forward.
Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Drink now, do not store. Pairs well with grilled sea bass, garlic prawns, light pasta dishes with lemon sauce, or as an aperitif with olives and Manchego cheese.
