The Manna from Franz Haas is one of South Tyrol's most idiosyncratic white wine cuvées — five grape varieties, one harmonious whole: Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, and Kerner, grown on the slopes of the Dolomites.

Franz Haas manages his winery in Montagna in the South Tyrolean DOC with a consistent focus on variety and alpine precision. The high altitude brings cool nights that sharpen both the aromatics and the acidity structure — an advantage that the Manna fully exploits.

In the glass, it shows aromas of white peach, grapefruit, and a hint of rose blossom, which the Gewürztraminer component contributes. The Riesling provides the taut line of acidity, Chardonnay adds body and creaminess, while Kerner and Sauvignon Blanc add a spicy, herbal note. The finish is long, slightly salty, with noticeable minerality.

Best enjoyed at 10–12 °C — with grilled char with herb butter, asparagus with hollandaise, or a young goat cheese from Trentino.
