Lentsch Blauer Zweigelt Reserve

Lentsch Blauer Zweigelt Reserve
The Lentsch Blauer Zweigelt Reserve comes from the Lentsch GesnbR winery — an Austrian family business that takes Zweigelt seriously as its flagship variety. The Reserve line signifies a longer ripening period and selective harvesting.
Zweigelt, in its classic form, offers notes of sour cherry, red plum, and a spicy tannic structure. In the reserve version, notes of dark berries, leather, and clove are often added, supported by barrel aging.
Pairs well with Wiener Schnitzel, grilled rump steak, roast beef with onions, or strong mountain cheese. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.

On the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl, where sun, wind, and water set the pace, lies the Seegut Lentsch. For three generations, the family has been cultivating wines here in Podersdorf that tell of this special patch of earth – honest, unmistakable, with soul. It is a winery that does not rely on effect, but on what the place itself has to give.
The Pannonian climate noticeably shapes the character of the vines: the warmth of the lake, the wide gravel soils, the special light that lies over the plain. What grows here tastes exactly like this place – and nothing else. This close connection between landscape and glass is what makes the wines from Lentsch so special and gives them a signature that cannot be copied.
Whether fruity-fresh rosé or elegant Muscat with elderflower: at Lentsch, the lake is in every drop. Anyone who tries these wines brings a piece of Lake Neusiedl directly into their glass – and with it the peace and vastness of this unique landscape.
