Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia Bolgheri DOC

The Bolgheri is one of the most famous coastal areas in Tuscany. Le Serre Nuove is the "second wine" of Tenuta dell'Ornellaia. The grapes for this wine come from the younger vines. Le Serre Nuove is Ornellaia's so-called second wine, created through the final blending of different barriques. Wines are selected for this wine that combine simplicity, suppleness, and structure, expressing the typicity of the exceptional terroir. Le Serre Nuove is predominantly made from grapes from the estate's younger vineyards. The quantity produced depends on the vintage and the final blend. Wine Industry 2021: 90 points, Top 50

Tenuta dell' Ornellaia

Every vine rooted in the sea-swept soils has its own voice. For Ornellaia, intuitively capturing and conducting the distinctive harmony of this chorus is both an obligation and an honor. The combination of soil, sun, sea, wind, and the stories of this land shapes every wine. Ornellaia's soils are of marine, alluvial, and volcanic origin. The vineyards of Ornellaia are divided into dozens of parcels—each one a microcosm with its own identity and expression. The rows of vines are predominantly oriented southwest to capture the last rays of the sun before it sets over the sea.
