Le Maestrelle Toscana IGT Magnum

Le Maestrelle Toscana IGT Magnum
Ruby red with violet reflections — Le Maestrelle shows in the glass what Tuscany is capable of: deep fruit, Mediterranean spice and a long, warm finish. And in the magnum bottle, it matures more slowly, more evenly, better.
Santa Cristina belongs to the Antinori group and cultivates vineyards in southern Tuscany. Le Maestrelle is the estate's house wine—approachable, but with a true Tuscan character: Sangiovese as the backbone, complemented by international varieties that contribute structure and richness.
On the nose, ripe sour cherry and blackberry, with juniper berry and a hint of mint. With a little aeration, vanilla and coffee emerge—a gentle oak note that frames the fruit without overpowering it. On the palate, it's soft and round, medium-bodied, with tannins that offer little bite. The finish is warm and lingering, repeating the dark fruit with a slightly spicy note.
Serving suggestion: Serve at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with pasta al ragù, grilled lamb chops, or a mature Pecorino Toscano. The magnum bottle is ideal for entertaining—or for anyone who wants to stock up. Best before 2027.
