Le Maestrelle Toscana IGT Magnum

Le Maestrelle Toscana IGT Magnum
Ruby red with violet reflections — Le Maestrelle shows what Tuscany can do even in the glass: deep fruit, Mediterranean spice, and a long, warm finish. And in the magnum bottle, it matures more slowly, more evenly, better.
Santa Cristina belongs to the Antinori group and manages sites in southern Tuscany. Le Maestrelle is the estate's house wine — accessible, but with real Tuscan character: Sangiovese as the backbone, supplemented by international varieties that contribute structure and melt.
On the nose, ripe sour cherry and blackberry, underneath juniper berry and a hint of mint. With some air, vanilla and coffee are added — a gentle wood tone that frames the fruit without covering it. On the palate, soft and round, medium body, tannins with little bite. The finish is warm and lingering, repeating the dark fruit with a slightly spicy note.
Serving recommendation: Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs with pasta al ragù, grilled lamb chop, or a ripe Pecorino Toscano. The magnum bottle is ideal for the table with company — or for anyone who wants to lay down a few bottles in stock.
