Las Pizarras Chardonnay Aconcagua Costa 0.75L
Las Pizarras Chardonnay Aconcagua Costa 0.75L
A Chardonnay that shows what Chile's coastal sites can do: cool, precise, with real tension in the glass. The Las Pizarras comes from the Aconcagua Costa, a region characterized by the cold Humboldt Current and strong Pacific winds — conditions that produce white wines with freshness and structure instead of tropical fullness.
Viña Errazuriz is one of the pioneers that recognized the potential of these coastal sites early on. The name "Las Pizarras" refers to the slate soils on which the vines stand — a subsoil that gives the wine a mineral basic tension that is clearly evident in the finish.
In the glass, it glows straw yellow with green reflections. On the nose, citrus zest, a hint of almond, and floral notes — not a buttery Chardonnay cliché, but a lean, cool profile. On the palate, there is a lively acidic structure that tightens the wine and carries it long. The finish is salty-mineral.
Recommendation: 10–12 °C, with grilled sea bass, scallops with lemon butter, or a creamy risotto with herbs.
