Landgraf Spätburgunder Naturbursche

Pinot Noir from Rheinhessen that isn't polished to a high gloss – this natural wine shows rough edges that make it interesting.

The Landgraf winery operates in Rheinhessen, one of Germany's largest wine regions, which has long since outgrown its Liebfraumilch reputation. The name "Naturbursche" (Nature Boy) says it all: a wine with character, one that doesn't compromise its nature.

In the glass, it shines a bright ruby red. The nose offers fresh cherry and dried fruit, along with forest floor, herbs, and a hint of cold smoke – an earthy, vibrant combination. On the palate, it has a firm body with noticeable drive; the tannins are engaging without being harsh, and the finish is long and spicy.

Serving temperature 16–18 °C. Pairs well with game dishes , a hearty lentil stew, or mature mountain cheese. If you wish to decant it: open it noticeably for 20–30 minutes.

Landgraf

Imagine: A winery in Rheinhessen that focuses on organic viticulture – with a lot of manual labor, great care, and deep conviction. That's exactly what the Landgraf winery in Saulheim is.

Andre Landgraf runs the winery that his father Bernd established. The 20 hectares of vineyards are located in the Haubenberg, Hölle, Heiligenhaus, and Schlossberg sites. Here, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and many other grape varieties grow – naturally, sustainably, and without chemical pesticides.

The wines? Profound, honest, and deeply rooted in their origin . Whether estate wine, village wine, or single-vineyard wine – you'll taste the minerality and the delicate freshness. A taste of Rheinhessen that will captivate you. Try it!
