Künstler Herrnberg Riesling Erste Lage dry

Künstler Herrnberg Riesling Erste Lage trocken is a classic Rheingau Riesling with a focus on elegance, minerality, and precision. It comes from the Künstler winery in Hochheim am Main and is grown in the Herrnberg vineyard, a VDP.ERSTE LAGE terroir with calcareous, stony soils that impart a fine, crystal-clear minerality and a distinct profile to the wine.

In the glass, the Riesling shines with a bright, straw-yellow hue and delicate green reflections. The nose reveals clear, impressive fruit aromas of lime, apricot, peach, and subtle citrus notes , complemented by a fine, mineral undertone and subtle floral accents. On the palate, the Herrnberg Riesling presents itself as a highly structured, straightforward dry wine with vibrant acidity, fine extract retention, and a clean, mineral toasty spice that is well-balanced by the ripe fruit.

The finish is long, clean, and delicately spicy, with a juicy, mineral vibrancy typical of Künstler's dry Rieslings. Served at around 10–12 °C , this wine pairs perfectly with fish, seafood, salads with dressing, pasta with a light sauce, or white meat. An exciting, age-worthy Riesling with distinct Rheingau charm and great drinking pleasure.
