Column Zero Session No 7 Riesling Reserve

An alcohol-free Riesling that doesn't taste like a compromise – but like a conscious choice. Kolonne Null's Session No. 7 Reserve shows what's possible when real winemakers are behind an alcohol-free project.

Kolonne Null was founded with the goal of elevating alcohol-free wines to the level of classic bottled wines. For its Reserve line, the label works specifically with German winemakers who vinify Riesling from established vineyards – the wine is then dealcoholized through gentle vacuum distillation to preserve its aromas and acidity as much as possible.

In the glass, the typical Riesling character is revealed: citrus peel, a hint of white peach, and the slate minerality characteristic of the grape variety. The acidity remains present and fresh, the finish dry and clean – without the sweetness that makes many non-alcoholic wines noticeable.

Kolonne Null

Kolonne Null was founded in Berlin in 2018 and has dedicated itself to a single, clear mission: to make alcohol-free wine that truly deserves the name. No grape juice, no artificial product – but real wine, which, after fermentation, is carefully dealcoholized using vacuum distillation to preserve its aroma and structure. To achieve this, the Berlin team works without its own vineyard, collaborating instead with carefully selected family wineries whose grapes are tasted, blended, and selected in their in-house laboratory. What began in 2019 with 500 bottles at Berlin's weekly markets is now one of the most renowned names in alcohol-free wine in the German-speaking world.
