I Gelsi Rose Calabria

The I Gelsi Rosé Calabria is made from the Galioppo grape variety – the preferred grape of the Statti brothers, who are responsible for this rosé. This rosé is therefore particularly fruity and fresh, perfect for balmy summer evenings. Its red color accentuates the fruity bouquet with its aromas of strawberries, raspberries, passion fruit, pomegranate, and spices. On the palate, it offers a refreshing taste experience, further enhanced by its gentle pressing and aging in stainless steel tanks.

Brothers Antonio and Alberto Statti have dedicated themselves to reviving this tradition. Their goal: to offer a modern interpretation of Calabria and to raise international awareness of the importance of these ancient grape varieties. A challenge, as Calabrian wines are virtually unknown today. The Stattis want to restore the excellent reputation they enjoyed in antiquity. A mission with a distinct flavor.
