Henry's Seven

A complex red wine from the Eden Valley – powerful, but with a floral lightness that sets it apart from classic Australian blends.

Henschke is one of Australia's most prestigious family wineries. Run by the family since 1868 and now in its fifth generation, they cultivate their vineyards in the Eden Valley and Barossa Valley with great care. Henry's Seven is a typical Henschke blend: down-to-earth, handcrafted, and with a clear connection to its origin.

In the glass, it displays a deep carmine red with violet reflections. The nose offers aromas of blueberry, blackberry, and plum, joined by lavender, violet, and a hint of rose petal – this floral character is the wine's hallmark. On the palate, blue and red fruits unfold, accompanied by anise and white pepper. The acidity provides structure, the tannins remain fine and well-integrated, and the finish is long.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C . Pairs well with braised lamb loin, beef brisket with root vegetables, or a strong hard cheese like Pecorino Stagionato. Drink it young to enjoy its fruity richness, but it also has the potential to age for several years in the cellar.
