Marble Angel

Black olives, cedarwood and a cool hint of menthol — the Marble Angel shows what Cabernet Sauvignon from the Barossa Valley can do when made patiently on older vines.

Henschke is one of Australia's most traditional wineries: family-owned since 1868, now in its fifth generation, and known for single-vineyard wines such as the legendary Hill of Grace. The Marble Angel is the more accessible entry point into their range—but with the same signature style: precise origin, meticulous vinification, and no artificial oak.

Deep ruby red in the glass. On the nose, blackcurrant, graphite, dried herbs, and a hint of black olive. Medium-bodied on the palate, velvety tannins, lively acidity—not a heavy Barossa wine, but a structured, cool style. Finish with cedarwood and a touch of pepper.
