Marble Angel

Black olives, cedarwood, and a cool hint of menthol — the Marble Angel shows what Cabernet Sauvignon from the Barossa Valley can do when made with patience from older vines.

Henschke is one of Australia's most traditional wineries: family-owned since 1868, fifth generation, known for single-vineyard wines like the legendary Hill of Grace. The Marble Angel is the more accessible entry into the range — but with the same signature: precise origin, careful vinification, no "effect" oak.

In the glass, deep ruby red. On the nose, blackcurrant, graphite, dried herbs, and a hint of black olive. On the palate, medium body, velvety tannins, vibrant acidity — not a heavy Barossa "plank," but a structured, cool style. Finish with cedarwood and a touch of pepper.
