Giusto di Notri Toscana Rosso IGT Tuscany 0.75L

The Giusto di Notri is the centerpiece of Tua Rita — a red wine from the Maremma that brings the raw elegance of the Tuscan coastal hills into the bottle. Cabernet Franc as the supporting grape variety gives the wine structure without heaviness.

Tua Rita is located in Suvereto, one of the most exciting spots in Tuscany away from the classic Chianti routes. The winery was founded in the 1980s by Rita Tua and her husband Virgilio Bisti and is now considered one of the defining addresses of the southern Tuscan wine scene. The name of the wine refers to the church of San Giusto — and to the first vineyard the couple cultivated here.

In the glass, the Cabernet Franc shows dark cherry and blackberry, underscored by graphite, violets, and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. The tannins are firm but well-integrated; the finish remains long and spicy with a subtle minerality that makes the soil of the Maremma palpable.

Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs well with braised beef, wild boar ragù, or aged Pecorino. If you open it now, you should decant it two hours beforehand.
