Giusto di Notri Toscana Rosso IGT Tuscany 1.5L

The Giusto di Notri is the flagship of Tua Rita — a red wine from the Maremma that shows what Cabernet Franc can achieve in southern Tuscany. Tua Rita, founded in 1984 by Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti in Suvereto, is now one of the best-known addresses in the region. The winery has helped shape the Maremma and proven that the hilly coastal zone produces far more than holiday rosé.

In the glass, the wine glows in a rich, deep dark ruby-violet. The nose is present and dense: black currant, mulberry, and blackberry, underpinned by spicy cedarwood. The tannin is fine-meshed and well-integrated, the body fully ripe with lasting depth in the finish. Not an edgy red wine — rather a structured, quiet power.

The 1.5-liter magnum bottle is particularly suitable for a table with guests: the larger volume matures more slowly and evenly. Drinking temperature: 17–18 °C. Pairs with Bistecca alla Fiorentina, braised leg of lamb with rosemary, or a strong Pecorino di Pienza.
