Crozes Hermitage Les Jalets Blanc

A white wine from the northern Rhône Valley that shows what Marsanne and Roussanne can achieve in the hands of an experienced house: ripe fruit, full-bodied texture, and a finish with depth.

Paul Jaboulet Aîné has been one of the defining names of the northern Rhône since 1834. The Crozes-Hermitage appellation surrounds the legendary Hermitage hill and provides the foundation for the region's characteristic white wines on granite and loess soils. Les Jalets is the house's most accessible line — clearly focused on drinking pleasure without compromising on origin.

In the glass, the Blanc shows aromas of ripe apricot, white peach, and acacia blossom. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a pleasant richness typical of Marsanne-based wines — accompanied by a fresh line of acidity that gives the whole structure. The finish is long, slightly mineral, with a hint of almond.

Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled sea bass with fennel, chicken breast fillet in cream sauce, or a ripe goat cheese.
