Crozes Hermitage Les Jalets Blanc

Crozes Hermitage Les Jalets Blanc
A white wine from the northern Rhône Valley that shows what Marsanne and Roussanne can achieve in the hands of an experienced winery: ripe fruit, full-bodied texture and a finish with depth.
Paul Jaboulet Aîné has been one of the leading wineries in the Northern Rhône since 1834. The Crozes-Hermitage appellation encompasses the legendary Hermitage hill and, with its granite and loess soils, provides the foundation for the region's characteristic white wines. Les Jalets is the estate's most approachable line—clearly focused on drinking pleasure, without compromising on its origin.
In the glass, the Blanc displays aromas of ripe apricot, white peach, and acacia blossom. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a pleasant richness typical of Marsanne-dominated wines—accompanied by a fresh acidity that provides structure. The finish is long, slightly mineral, with a hint of almond.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled sea bass with fennel, chicken breast in cream sauce, or a mature goat cheese. Drinking window: now until 2027.
