Coppola Diamond Collection Cabernet Sauvignon

The Diamond Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes from the northernmost part of the El Dorado region and grapes from the southern part of Paso Robles. These regions are defined by almost daily changing weather conditions, which delay the ripening process and thus allow for particularly powerful grapes. The Diamond Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is therefore characterized by powerful aromas of dark berries and cherries. These are joined by smoky notes and peppery hints. The wine has good fullness and structure. The tannins are also beautifully integrated. The wine was aged in barriques.

The Diamond Collection uses high-quality vines from the best sites in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Monterey, and Paso Robles.

The Winery

Francis Ford Coppola Winery

The world-famous director bought the magnificent Niebaum Cottage in Rutherford (Napa Valley) as early as 1979, which was actually intended as a weekend residence. After its renovation, the opportunity for winegrowing was also utilized, which also quickly bore fruit.

Thus, the two product lines, Rosso & Blanco and Diamond Collection, which are still current today, were created. The Rosso & Blanco line in particular represents an homage to his Italian roots. In 1998, Corey Beck joined the winery, who has now advanced to director and was appointed president of the Francis Ford Coppola Winery in 2014.
