Coppola Diamond Collection Cabernet Sauvignon

The Diamond Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown in the northernmost part of the El Dorado region and grapes grown in the southern part of Paso Robles. These regions are characterized by almost daily changes in weather, which delay the ripening process and result in particularly robust grapes. The Diamond Collection Cabernet Sauvignon is distinguished by intense aromas of dark berries and cherries, complemented by smoky and peppery notes. The wine has good body and structure, and the tannins are beautifully integrated. It was aged in barriques. The Diamond Collection uses high-quality grapes from the best vineyards in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Monterey, and Paso Robles.

Francis Ford Coppola Winery

The world-renowned director purchased the magnificent Niebaum Cottage in Rutherford (Nappe Valley) back in 1979, originally intended as a weekend retreat. After its renovation, the opportunity for viticulture was seized, and this quickly proved fruitful. This led to the creation of the two product lines, Rosso & Blanco and Diamond Collection, which are still in production today. The Rosso & Blanco line, in particular, is a tribute to his Italian roots. In 1998, Corey Beck joined the winery, rising to the position of director and, in 2014, being appointed president of Francis Ford Coppola Winery.
