Appellation series Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir

Appellation series Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
Santa Barbara County is considered one of the most exciting Pinot Noir regions in California – the valleys open towards the Pacific Ocean, which ensures cool nights and a long ripening period for the grapes.
Francis Ford Coppola Winery, located in Geyserville, Sonoma County, produces wines under the Appellation Series that emphasize the character of their respective terroirs. This Pinot Noir comes entirely from Santa Barbara County and follows the clear goal of letting terroir speak for itself, rather than technique.
In the glass, it displays aromas of ripe cherry and blackberry, underpinned by a delicate herbal spiciness – typical of cooler locations in this region. The mouthfeel is soft, with silky tannins and a pleasant freshness on the finish.
