Collavini Turian Ribolla Gialla Friuli Colli Orientali DOC

Ribolla Gialla is one of the oldest indigenous grape varieties in Friuli — and the Turian from Collavini shows why this variety finds its best terrain in the Colli Orientali. Late-ripening grapes from the vineyards around Corno di Rosazzo and Manzano, where loamy-sandy soils alternate with Ponca weathering rock, give the wine its characteristic tension.

In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose brings lemon zest, white flowers, and a hint of green apple — clear and precise, without heaviness. On the palate, it is followed by a lively, well-integrated acidity, a slender body, and a dry, slightly salty-mineral finish, as is typical for Ribolla Gialla from this hilly zone.

The Turian works best as an accompaniment to dishes that need freshness: monkfish carpaccio with capers, grilled sea bream, light risottos with seafood, or goat cheese with herbs. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. It also makes a good impression as an aperitif with bruschetta or a Friulian frico.
