Lion & Dragon Rosé

Lion & Dragon Rosé
A Provence rosé that breaks the mold: six months of oak barrel aging give the Lion & Dragon a creamy texture and depth without sacrificing the typical freshness of the region.
Château Roubine lies in the heart of Provence, in the Haut-Var between Draguignan and Lorgues. The estate is one of the oldest in the region and has been known for years for its structured, age-worthy rosés – an exception in an appellation that usually focuses on light, easy-drinking wines.
In the glass, Lion & Dragon displays aromas of strawberry and raspberry, interwoven with lemongrass and a subtle oak note from barrel aging. On the palate, it is juicy and rounded, with a delicate creaminess balanced by lively acidity. The finish is long and slightly spicy – unusual for a Provence rosé.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled sea bass with fennel, goat cheese tart, or bouillabaisse. Also delicious on its own as a summer evening wine. Drinking window: now until 2027.
