Chablis 1er Cru Grande Cuvée

Seven Premier Cru sites, one cuvée: La Chablisienne bundles the best of the Kimmeridgian limestone soil around Chablis here into a white wine that shows the region in its classic form.

La Chablisienne is no ordinary cooperative. Founded in 1923, the members today cultivate around 25% of the entire Chablis appellation — including some of the best Premier Cru parcels. The Grande Cuvée is the centerpiece: an assemblage of several Premiers Crus, vinified for freshness and mineral precision, typical of the house style.

In the glass, it shows light straw yellow with green reflections. The nose brings white peach, lemon zest, and a distinct flint tone — the signature of the Kimmeridgian. On the palate, taut acidity, medium body, a slightly creamy texture, and a long-lasting, salty-mineral finish.

La Chablisienne

In 1923, 250 winegrowing families joined forces. This led to the creation of La Chablisienne , the most important winegrowers' cooperative in the Chablis region.

Today, the members cultivate over 1200 hectares of vineyards – about a quarter of the entire Chablis region. The only star here is Chardonnay .

The wines are crisp, mineral, and taste of citrus and white blossoms. A piece of living winemaking history that you simply must taste.
