Bosco del Merlo Pinot Grigio Selection
A Pinot Grigio from Veneto that shows what the grape variety can do beyond pale mass-produced wines: clear fruit, lively acidity, real freshness.
Bosco del Merlo is located in Annone Veneto, in the heart of the Lison-Pramaggiore DOC region. The winery has been cultivating its vineyards in the Venetian lowlands for decades and relies on selective hand-harvesting and gentle vinification for its Pinot Grigio – prerequisites for the aromatic precision that characterizes this selection.
Straw yellow in the glass with light golden reflections. The nose offers aromas of pear blossom, a touch of acacia, and a hint of white peach. On the palate, it is dry and medium-bodied, with a fresh, well-integrated acidity that keeps the wine lively without being harsh. The finish is short to medium-long, clean, and pleasantly mineral.
Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 10–12 °C. Pairs well with scallops with lemon butter, grilled sea bass, light fish soups, or vitello tonnato. Also a good choice as a casual aperitif. Drinking window: now until 2026.
