How does the Binigrau Obac taste?
Dry and expressive — ripe dark fruits, Mediterranean herbs, powerful body. At 14% vol., it has weight but does not remain heavy.
What does the Obac go best with?
Grilled beef, leg of lamb, or Ibérico pork are the obvious companions. However, it also stands up well alongside braised dishes and spicy tapas.
At what temperature should I serve it?
Between 16 and 18 °C — so slightly cooler than room temperature. Anyone who pours it too warm loses the freshness of the herbal notes.
Is this a Mallorcan grape variety?
The Obac relies on autochthonous varieties of the Balearic Islands such as Callet and Mantonegro — grape varieties that are hardly grown outside of Mallorca and give the wine its regional character.
How long does an opened bottle last?
Stored cool with a stopper, it keeps well for two to three days once opened. The powerful body forgives some air — after a day in the glass, it often opens up even further.
