Bi Blanc

Bi Blanc
Chardonnay from the Mallorcan winery Binigrau – aged in barrique, with the tropical ripeness of the island and the structure of the wood.
Binigrau is located in the heart of Mallorca, in the Pla i Llevant Denominación de Origen. The winery focuses on the island's typical strengths: intense sunshine, Mediterranean soils, and controlled fermentation to preserve freshness. The Bi Blanc is the estate's white wine – aged in French oak barriques.
In the glass, it shines a deep golden yellow. The nose reveals toasted bread and vanilla from the oak aging, beneath which lie pineapple, apricot, and medlar – ripe, sun-drenched fruit. A hint of candied ginger and blossom honey adds complexity to the bouquet without being overpowering. On the palate, it is silky, with well-integrated acidity and a finish that oscillates between fruity and floral notes.
Serving suggestion: Served at 11–13 °C, Bi Blanc pairs well with grilled sea bass, chicken with lemon sauce, or a creamy risotto. It's also a delicious accompaniment to ensaimada with a savory filling – a classic Mallorcan moment.
Binigrau comes from the heart of Mallorca – an island that has far more to offer than sun and sand. Nestled amidst the rugged Tramuntana mountains and on ancient terraces, something special grows here: wine with true character.
The winery focuses on the indigenous Manto Negro grape variety , showcasing the true potential of Mallorcan soil – powerful, spicy, with an unmistakable Mediterranean depth. No mainstream wines here, but rather wines that proudly reflect their origins.
