Bellavista Alma Assemblage 2 DOCG Franciacorta 3.0L

The Alma Assemblage 2 is the Franciacorta for large gatherings: a cuvée of 86% Chardonnay, 13% Pinot Nero, and 1% Pinot Bianco, bottled in a 3-liter bottle. The format makes an impression at the table, and the wine behind it provides substance.

Bellavista sources the grapes from about 60 carefully selected vineyards in Franciacorta, Lombardy. They are harvested by hand and vinified separately, with a portion maturing in small oak barrels. After the assemblage, the wine rests on the lees for at least 30 months. This creates depth and a fine structure that gives the Brut its hold.

In the glass, it shines straw-yellow, the perlage is fine and persistent. The bouquet combines Mediterranean blossoms with lively citrus notes. On the palate, it is dynamic and firm; the finish is mineral and remains present for a long time.

Recommendation: Serve it well-chilled at 6 to 8 °C, as an aperitif for a celebration or with seafood, fish, and delicate poultry. The large bottle is worthwhile for a group of six to eight people.
