Balvenie Double Wood 12 Years Single Malt Whiskey

The Balvenie 12 Year Old Double Oak whiskey is a mild single malt whiskey and offers aromas of honey and vanilla with sweet fruits and Oloroso sherry. In terms of taste, it impresses with a nutty sherry sweetness, a fine cinnamon note with fruity hints of orange and heather, and promises a long, warming finish.

The twelve-year-old Double Wood whiskey from Balvenie matures for the first ten years in former bourbon barrels before it is post-matured for the remaining two years in first-fill sherry barrels. The family flair of the Balvenie distillery has never been lost since its founding; all employees, from the coppersmith to the malt men, pursue the goal of preserving the tradition and character of Balvenie.

Balvenie

Balvenie – this is Speyside whisky as it should be: artisanal, patient, full of character.
