Tenuta San Salvagio

San Salvagio lies near Siena, within the historic walls of Montepulciano in Tuscany. The cellar of the San Salvagio estate was built entirely from materials salvaged from old Tuscan farmhouses. On approximately 10 hectares of land, the vineyards of Pietrose, Spinella, and Colombelle, primarily planted with Sangiovese, favor the production of top-quality wines, thanks to the unique soil composition, the favorable vineyard location, and the special microclimate. All of this is the result of Luciano Scaccini's passion and unwavering dedication. All of this leads us to say: San Salvagio red wines from Montepulciano!

Sangiovese from the hills of Montepulciano

Luciano Scaccini cultivates around 10 hectares of vineyards in the Pietrose, Spinella, and Colombelle sites—all planted with Sangiovese. The old cellar, built from Tuscan materials, the clay-stony soils, and the microclimate of the hills near Siena shape each vintage of San Salvagio.
