San Salvagio Rosso di Montepulciano DOC

Rosso di Montepulciano is one of the most popular red wines from the Vino Nobile region of Tuscany. It is made primarily from the Sangiovese grape, known locally as Prugnolo Gentile, Canaiolo, and other smaller varieties, from the San Salvagio di Sopra and La Spinella vineyards. Aged for six months in Slovenian oak barrels, the wine has pleasant tannins and is suitable for a wide range of pairings. To preserve its organoleptic properties, the Rosso di Montepulciano DOC San Salvagio has not undergone any treatment, allowing its natural structure to fully shine through.

Tenuta San Salvagio

San Salvagio lies near Siena, within the historic walls of Montepulciano in Tuscany. The cellar of the San Salvagio estate was built entirely from materials salvaged from old Tuscan farmhouses. On approximately 10 hectares of land, the vineyards of Pietrose, Spinella, and Colombelle, primarily planted with Sangiovese, favor the production of top-quality wines, thanks to the unique soil composition, the favorable vineyard location, and the special microclimate. All of this is the result of Luciano Scaccini's passion and unwavering dedication. All of this leads us to say: San Salvagio red wines from Montepulciano!
