The Italian winery Mesa was founded in 2004 on Sardinia. The young company is located in the Carbonia-Iglesias region, whose terroir is characterized by sandy soils. The given soil conditions enable the cultivation and later the production of high-quality wines. Various grape varieties such as Cannonau, Carigano or Carignan as well as Vermentino are grown on the vineyards of the Mesa winery and processed into wines in the cellar.

Mesa –
Sardinian grape varieties on sandy soils since 2004
Cantina Mesa is located in Carbonia-Iglesias in the southwest of Sardinia – a barren landscape whose sandy soils demand both stress and depth from the vines. Since 2004, the winery has been vinifying autochthonous varieties there: Cannonau, Carignan and Vermentino.
