The Italian winery Mesa was founded in Sardinia in 2005. This young company is located in the Carbonia-Iglesias region, whose terroir is characterized by sandy soils. These soil conditions allow for the cultivation and subsequent production of high-quality wines. On the Mesa estate's vineyards, various grape varieties such as Cannonau, Carigano, Carignan, and Vermentino are cultivated and processed into wines at the winery.

Cantina Mesa is located in Carbonia-Iglesias in southwestern Sardinia – a barren landscape whose sandy soils demand both stress and depth from the vines. Since 2005, the winery has been vinifying indigenous grape varieties there: Cannonau, Carignan, and Vermentino.
