Roner Distillery

Roner – South Tyrolean distilling tradition since 1946. Founded by Gottfried Roner, the distillery is now run by the third generation, Karin Roner. Specializing in grappas, liqueurs, and fruit brandies – made from regional fruits, with a keen eye for quality. What goes into this? Their own grappa distillery, modern processing facilities, and an in-house quality control laboratory. In 1999, wine was added to their portfolio with the Ritterhof winery. Craftsmanship, tradition, and a love for the South Tyrolean terroir – evident in every bottle.

Roner Distillery –
three generations of South Tyrolean distilling expertise

What Gottfried Roner started in South Tyrol in 1946 is now being continued by his granddaughter Karin Roner in the third generation: a distillery that focuses on the essentials – grappas, fruit distillates and liqueurs made from fruits of the region, produced with its own laboratory and a clear quality standard.

The focus is on the company's own grappa distillery: pomace from South Tyrolean vineyards is carefully processed, distilled, and inspected – from raw material to bottled product. This level of control is rare and is reflected in the result: clear aromas, pure distillates, and an unmistakable Alpine character.

Since 1999, wine has also been part of the portfolio with the Ritterhof winery – a logical step for a company that knows the terroir of South Tyrol inside and out. Whether it's grappa after a meal, a fruity liqueur, or a wine from the hills around Bolzano: Roner stands for origin you can taste.
