Roner – South Tyrolean distilling tradition since 1946. Founded by Gottfried Roner, the distillery is now run by the third generation, Karin Roner. Specializing in grappas, liqueurs, and fruit brandies – made from regional fruits, with a keen eye for quality. What goes into this? Their own grappa distillery, modern processing facilities, and an in-house quality control laboratory. In 1999, wine was added to their portfolio with the Ritterhof winery. Craftsmanship, tradition, and a love for the South Tyrolean terroir – evident in every bottle.

Roner Distillery –
three generations of South Tyrolean distilling expertise

Since 1946, the Roner family in South Tyrol has been distilling spirits that bring the character of the region into the bottle. Founded by Gottfried Roner, Karin Roner now leads the company in the third generation – with the same standard: raw materials from the surrounding area, careful processing, no compromise on quality.

The focus is on grappa – distilled from pomace residues of regional winegrowers, in their own distillery with an attached laboratory for seamless quality control. In addition, fruit distillates and liqueurs are created from South Tyrolean fruit: apples, berries, plums – fruits that shape the alpine climate between Vinschgau and Eisacktal. Brennerei Roner processes them with a precision that you can feel in the glass: clear aromatics, clean distillation, a long finish.

In 1999, Roner expanded the portfolio to include wine when the Ritterhof winery joined the house. Anyone who knows the distillates will find the same style here: down-to-earth, artisanal, with a clear reference to the terroir of South Tyrol.
