Strassertal a new name for a well-known Blanc de Noir formerly Johann Topf Weisser Zweigelt
The red vines for the Strassertal "White Zweigelt" grow in the Bickenweg vineyard, which consists of sandy and gravelly soils, a slight basin location where fog forms in autumn, which in turn has an optimal effect on the bouquet yield. After the harvest in September, the whole grapes are pressed immediately. The wine is aged exclusively in steel tanks.

In the nose, a scent of flower meadow unfolds, charming and at the same time playful, slightly sparkling in the finish, appears long-lasting due to its charm.
This wine is an ideal aperitif or summer wine with the attributes of a fragrant fresh white wine with light tannins on the palate from the Zweigelt grape.

A Blanc de Noir made from red Zweigelt grapes that are pressed immediately after harvest — hence the light color with a slight copper tone. In the glass, it is floral-fresh, slightly playful, with fine tannins on the palate and a subtle prickle on the finish. Not a heavy wine: 11.5% ABV, vinified dry.
