Strassertal, a new name for a well-known Blanc de Noir, formerly Johann Topf Weisser Zweigelt. The red grapes for the Strassertal "Weißer Zweigelt" grow in the Bickenweg vineyard, which consists of sandy soils and gravel, a slightly bowl-shaped site where fog forms in autumn, which in turn has an optimal effect on the bouquet. After the harvest in September, the whole bunches of grapes are pressed immediately. The wine is aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks. Color: light copper hue. On the nose, it unfolds a fragrance of flower meadows, charming and playful at the same time, with a slightly effervescent finish that is long-lasting due to its charm. This wine is an ideal aperitif or summer wine with the attributes of a fragrant, fresh white wine with light tannins on the palate from the Zweigelt grape.
